Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how the Leus group ("Leus", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on leus.capital and app.leus.capital (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, including your rights, international transfers and how to contact us.
This Policy is designed to meet the requirements of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR") and the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and applicable EU ePrivacy rules, and Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") in Türkiye.
The data controllers are Leus Danışmanlık Anonim Şirketi (Türkiye) and Leus Capital Ltd. (United Kingdom). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, software development kits (SDKs), local storage and similar identifiers. In this Policy, we refer to all of these as "cookies".
Cookies allow the Platform to recognise your device, remember your preferences (such as language), keep you signed in, keep the Platform secure, and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.
There are different types of cookies:
- First-party cookies: cookies that are set by or on behalf of us when you use our Platform; and
- Third-party cookies: cookies that are set by parties or organisations other than us when you use the Platform. The Platform may also contain content from or link to other sites which may set their own cookies.
Your choices and consent
- Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because they are essential to operate the Platform and to provide a service you have requested. If you set your browser to block these cookies, then these functions and services will not work for you. In particular, we won't be able to save your preferences about cookies.
- All other cookies (performance/analytics, functional, and marketing) are only used with your consent, which we collect through our cookie consent banner when you first visit, and which you can change at any time.

- your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies (note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working); and
- provider-specific opt-outs listed in the "Third-party providers and their policies" section below.
Under KVKK, where processing through cookies relies on your explicit consent, that consent is obtained and can be withdrawn on the same basis. Your consent choices are recorded and stored in order to demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Categories of cookies we use
For the avoidance of doubt, because the cookies used by the Platform may change over time as we improve our services, we may update the cookie tables from time to time without changing the overall categories of cookies described in this Policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
Essential for the Platform to function, including signing in, keeping your session secure, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. Legal basis: performance of a contract / provision of a service you requested (and legitimate interests for security); no consent required.

Third-party providers and their policies
Some cookies are set by third parties who process data in accordance with their own privacy notices. Where these providers transfer data internationally, appropriate safeguards apply (see the International Transfers section of our Privacy Policy). Their policies include:

Web fonts
The application at app.leus.capital loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your IP address is transmitted to Google in order to deliver the font files. Our website at leus.capital serves its fonts from our own servers, so no request is made to Google for fonts there. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
How to control or delete cookies
In addition to our preference centre, most browsers let you view, manage, delete and block cookies. Guidance is usually found in the browser's help section. Useful resources include www.aboutcookies.org and www.allaboutcookies.org. Please note that if you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Platform may not function correctly. Changes to your cookie preferences take effect immediately, but previously stored cookies may remain on your device until deleted manually or until they expire.
How long do cookies last?
- Session cookies: These cookies only last as long as your online session and expire when you close your browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari).
- Persistent cookies: These cookies stay on your device after your browser has been closed and last for a time specified in the cookie. We use these cookies when we need to remember you for more than one browsing session, for instance to remember your preferences from one visit to the next.
Recipients and transfers
Personal data collected through cookies may be shared with the providers listed above and transferred internationally under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. This may include our consultants and technical service providers, and, where legally required, authorised public institutions.
Your rights
You have rights over personal data collected through cookies, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability under the GDPR, and the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in the law. We will update the "Last updated" date accordingly.
